The Garden of Weedin' Program
The Garden of Weedin’ is a community garden that donates 10% of its harvest to the Thurston County Food Bank. That frequently amounts to one ton of food donated each season! We are committed to creating community, feeding the hungry and growing healthy, nutritious food for ourselves and others. It is operated on land owned by Westminster Presbyterian Church which began this garden in 2012.
Garden Beds
Beds for Rent
We have 4’x 20’ beds available for rent each season- $30 for a half-bed and $60 for a full-bed
Dedicated Beds
We have garden beds dedicated to the Food Bank, Hope Village (the Tiny Home community next door), and a Sunshine Preschool pumpkin patch.
Contracts
Garden contracts are available in January at the church office.
