Terry began his ministry at Westminster in 2001 as the organist. He took over duties as Director of Music Ministries in 2004 and now serves as Praise Team leader, Chancel Choir director, Youth Choir director and church organist. Terry is the founder and director of the Olympia Choral Society whose mission is community service. They meet this mission by providing free concerts to the community, giving away money to local charities and providing a place for experienced singers to take part in the beauty of making choral music. Terry is also the choir director at Timberline High School and coaches football at Northwest Christian High School. Terry earned a Master’s of Music from Boston University in 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Pacific Lutheran University. Most of all, Terry enjoys his role as Daddy to Trevor (10) and Owen (5) and husband to his beautiful wife Jennifer, who also is a singer. At WPC, more than anything else, Terry enjoys the immense support and appreciation for music in our church from the congregation, various choir members and staff. This is what makes WPC very special and unique.
