The Rev. Dr. David R. Kegley, Pastor and Head of Staff
David began ministry with this congregation in July of 2003. The preaching, teaching, leadership and administrative roles he has here at Westminster are joyful tasks for him. He is part of a talented and caring staff where each is eager to help members and friends of this congregation grow in their faith and in their lives together. He considers it a privilege to serve with a congregation of faithful and active members who take to heart Christ’s call to care for the needy and teach the faith. David has served two other congregations since his ordination in 1992. These include the First Presbyterian Church of Roswell, New Mexico as an Associate Pastor and the Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church (PCUSA) in Parma, Idaho, as Pastor. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree at McCormick Seminary in Chicago in 2002 in the A.C.T.S. Doctor of Ministry in Preaching program. David views his life as a journey of faith where each day God reveals opportunities for creativity and loving relationships. David is married to his best friend, Luci Kegley and has two teenage sons, Alex and Sam. www.davidkegleysblog.typepad.com
