Our prayers and sympathy to Sandy, Carly, and Makenzi Crouch following the death of their husband and father, Larry Crouch. Larry died February 6, 2012. A memorial service will be held for Larry at Westminster this Saturday, February 11th at 3:00 PM.

Ash Wednesday Supper and Service
Our Ash Wednesday supper and service is scheduled for February 22nd, with a light supper at 6:00pm, followed by worship at 6:30pm.
Would you like to share your favorite soup for our dinner? We need ten different soups, serving ten people each. Soups can be delivered just prior to dinner, and a crock pot works great for serving the soup. Please let Kathy Marshall know if you can bring soup for this special evening of fellowship and quiet reflection as we begin the season of Lent.

SEE HOW OUR GARDEN GROWS
WPC IS STARTING A GARDEN!!!!!
This spring WPC will be starting a Community Garden next door on the former Blvd. Nursery site. Now isn’t that appropriate? It will be small in scale consisting of four raised beds – sort of a Pilot Project. The food grown there will be donated to the Thurston County Food Bank.
We are currently looking for people who are excited about this idea and would be interested in the planning phase of this project. You do not have to be a gardener in order to get involved, although we certainly welcome those of you with green thumbs. There is a lot to do for people with a variety of interests and abilities. We also would like to encourage people of all ages to participate.
Our first informational and planning meeting will be held Sunday, February 26th during the Sunday School hour in the Fellowship Hall.
